Take this luck and pass it on...

Today I was reminded of how important it is to roam this earth with awareness.

A minute ago, I was walking along my local street, having just shopped for my veggies on the portobello road. All of a sudden an old man said 'hello'. I stopped, smiled and said hello back. He was a very frail old man and he had a walking stick. As we exchanged glances, he said 'I don't like to be alone'.

This one sentence went straight to the core of my very being. I was absolutely desperate for the ladies, but I felt inclined to walk with this man who was so honest. I didn't get to find out too much about him, he seemed only to want to walk with me briefly. The conversation was engaging and full of laughter and at the end of our walk he told me how lucky I was for no particular reason!!!

He is a local man and his name is Joseph, if I see him again I shall gladly share time with such a pleasant character.

Very often, I find myself rushing from one place to the other and it's the brief exchanges such as this one that reminds me of how important it is to stop often and appreciate the wonderful people around us.

Remember to apprciate who you are every single day - even if it means saying it to your reflection in the mirror.

From one lucky person to another lucky person - Tag! Take this luck and pass it on, it's infinite and limitless - have fun with it and remember to be grateful for who you are and the gifts that dwell inside of you (even if you feel you haven't found them yet)
Bye for now
